Fohat CEO and founder Igor Ferreira, 34, is an electrical engineer and specialist in renewable energy and microgrids from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), with an MBA focused on Management of the Brazilian Electric Sector from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV). Prior to founding Fohat in 2017, he worked in Brazil, Germany and China as an engineer for multinational companies such as Bosch and Volvo. As CEO of Fohat, he is responsible for the company's strategic market intelligence area.
Fohat Founder and Head of Human Development and Corporate Culture, Dani Paes, 36 yo, is an artist, a teacher of basic and university education in the Arts field, and has been dedicated for the last 15 years to the areas of education and human development with accredited training by the O&O University in India, the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp), Paz & Mente University (UPM), and FAE Centro Universitário, in Brazil. A researcher and an entrepreneur, she develops and applies mentoring programs for people and organizations. At Fohat, she is responsible for people development and corporate culture, with a focus on mindfulness.
Fohat's overseas operations and global market opening are under the command of co-founder and industrial electronics engineer Douglas Ferreira, 32, who has worked as an engineer in Brazil and Germany at multinational companies such as Bosch and Volvo. Headquartered in the company's office in Melbourne, Australia since 2018, he has been managing the innovative microgrid feasibility project for the renovation of Queen Victoria Market, the municipal market of Melbourne, the second-largest city of Australia, with over 4 million citizens.
Fohat's research, development, and innovation framework is led by co-founder and IT professional Francisco Leal, 32 yo, a renowned blockchain expert and a specialist in big data, robotics, as well as process automation, industrial systems and machinery, embedded measurement systems, and programmable logic microcontrollers. A graduate in Industrial Automation Technology from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), he is responsible for developing innovative solutions based on a solid technological, engineering, and operational framework integrating blockchain, artificial intelligence, tokenomics, advanced metering, and big data.
Fohat's commercial and marketing areas are in the hands of co-founder Renan Schepanski, a 35 years-old mechanical engineer. His solid professional experience in multinational companies that worked, in the areas of production, engineering, sales, and marketing has been very important to the company. Renan leads the Fohat's commercial and institutional relationship with the mission of connecting the brand to the market.
